The Keeper of Two and the Transcendent Third explores the moral call to be “your brother’s keeper”—to protect, support, and remain responsible to one another. The two figures held within the central form suggest a bond rooted not only in care, but in shared purpose. Drawing on Aristotle’s idea of perfect friendship, the work reflects on a relationship elevated by mutual virtue and a common pursuit of the good.
